Major projects identified for 2017

Projects are implemented upon the Foundation securing funding and having the implementation resources available for each project.

1. Watarrka Secondary School Project
- the establishment of the 'Watarrka Secondary School' in the Kings Canyon region. 

2. Watarrka Primary School Projects
-  the provision of a new classroom at the Watarrka Primary School, to accommodate for year 7, 8 and 9 children

- the establishment of a new 100 tree critrus tree orchard, fencing and irrigation system along the Watarrka Primary School’s eastern boundary.  The orchard will act as a wind break and eventually provide a supply of fresh fruit for the children.
- the provision of weekly fresh fruit and vegetables to the School for making fresh juice drinks for the children.
- the maintenance of FAT bikes
- the maintenance of School's vegetable garden
- the maintenance of School's citrus gardens

3. Wanamrra Projects
- the maintenance and further development of the community market garden
- the establishment of a 'native bush tucker’ garden

4. Ulpanyali Projects
- the maintenance and further development of the market garden
- Provision of basketball hoop and basketball paving for the children at Ulpanyali
- Upgrade and centralise the children playground equipment.

5. Lilla Projects
-  the maintenance and further development of the community market garden
- the provision of a fence around the community citrus orchard

6.  2017 Annual Sports & Story Telling Festival (22 to 25 August 2017)
- the festival brings together the children from the Watarrka, Imanpa and Utju Areyonga primary schools for 3 days of drama and sporting activities.
